Leading modular homebuilder offered a look inside Excel factory.

BRICK,  NJ – Last weekend, over 40 interested homebuyers joined Zarrilli Homes, Jersey Shore’s premier modular homebuilder, for a tour of the Excel Modular Home Factory and to see where Zarrilli Homes are manufactured. The tour bus departed from the Zarrilli corporate office in Brick early Saturday morning. On the three-hour trip to the Excel Modular Home Factory in Liverpool, PA, Anthony Zarrilli and members of his team Robert Giovine and Nicole Milder discussed the advantages and process of modular building and also answered questions from participants attending the event. Pat O’Shea of Lavallette, NJ boarded the bus hesitant of what the day might entail. “I thought, ‘no way am I going to let these people talk me into anything.’ But there was no pressure – it was simply a learning experience. They could not have treated us better,” O’Shea said. When Hurricane Sandy hit, O’Shea’s home was flooded with 2.5 feet of water. As she awaits funding from the Rehabilitation, Reconstruction, Elevation, and Mitigation Program, she attended the tour to explore her rebuilding options.   “Zarrilli’s team would answer any questions you could possibly imagine. In the factory, you could see each stage of development. It completely convinced me this was the way I wanted to go.  Be sorry you missed this tour,” O’Shea commented.   Due to new technology that can accommodate open floor plans and airy designs, many new homes built post-Sandy are modular. Zarrilli Homes has chosen Excel Modular Homes as their manufacturer because of their quality products and devotion to Zarrilli’s clients.   “They’re constantly asking us what our customers want,” said owner and President Anthony Zarrilli. The largest custom modular homebuilder in the nation, Excel Modular Homes builds homes in several states, so their materials meet or exceed rigorous national standards.   After receiving an in-depth tour of their 200,000 square foot facility, Skip Reich, Vice President of Operations and General Manager, and other members of the Excel Modular Homes team fielded questions during the lunch break.   “We actually use 20-30% more materials than a site built construction. Our experienced craftsmen only use pre-measured jigs to avoid crooked angles or faulty measurements,” Reich explained. “We offer an advantage of flexibility, value, and precise schedule that site built construction can’t achieve.” Modular homes boast the advantage of being constructed without exposure to harsh weather and can be produced in the factory within a week. Once the modular units have arrived onsite, they can be set on the foundation by Zarrilli Homes and their team and can be walked through typically within a few hours.   To accommodate homebuyers in the area, Zarrilli Homes has recently partnered with Excel Modular Homes to introduce the Shore Collection, which features 16 homes specifically designed for the Jersey Shore.   “Features like hardwood, granite, tile bathrooms, 9’ ceilings, Kohler faucets and Seagull lighting, and tank-less hot water heaters are standard, not upgrades, in all of our homes,” said Anthony Zarrilli. “This is one of the reasons we have been around for three generations and are the leading modular builder in New Jersey.”   Due to the event’s overwhelming success, the homebuilder plans to host another bus trip in the near future as well as a “Meet the Builder” event this summer. Those interested in attending these upcoming events can sign up by visiting ZarrilliHomes.com or calling 732.262.4848.   Be sure to also tune into the DIY network this fall where three of Zarrilli projects will be featured including one in Wall Township, Toms River, and Brick Township.   To learn more about Zarrilli Homes, LLC or to inquire about its new Shore Collection of homes, stop by Zarrilli’s Design Studio located at 186 Mantoloking Road in Brick or visit ZarrilliHomes
