BRICK – The Modular Home Builders Association (MHBA) recently announced that a project by Zarrilli Homes, New Jersey’s premier custom modular homebuilder, has been designated as its “June Home of the Month.” The winning project is now being featured on the MHBA website (modularhousing.com) and social media for the month of June.
The Zarrilli Homes project showcases a two-story colonial style home in Spring Lake, NJ. The custom designed home, manufactured by Excel Homes (excelhomes.com), features 2,343 sq. ft. of living space, plus a 684 sq. ft. bonus room, finished basement and detached garage.
“This designation is given to a member builder utilizing a member manufacturer (Excel Homes) and recognizes the overall design aesthetics of the home, as well as its high performance characteristics,” according to Tom Hardiman, Executive Director of the MHBA. “This home exemplifies the great work our industry is doing to provide high quality, beautiful homes to families. The fact that these homes are also more durable and waste less material than conventionally built homes is an added bonus.”
G. Anthony Zarrilli, Founder and President of Zarrilli Homes, says he is honored to receive such a prestigious designation. “This is truly a reflection of all the hard work and dedication of our entire Zarrilli Homes staff, as well as the team at Excel Homes,” Zarrilli added.
Zarrilli Homes has partnered with manufacturer Excel Homes for over five years. “On behalf of the entire management team at Excel Homes, we want to extend our congratulations to Zarrilli Homes for this well-deserved recognition,” said Rob Ebbets, Executive Vice President of Innovative Business Solutions, the parent company to Pennsylvania-based Excel Homes. “Anthony and his team have always done an outstanding job of working with their customers to create beautiful homes and we are privileged to count them among one of our top builders.”
The winning home includes numerous standard features that other builders often offer as upgrades, like 42” wall cabinets, granite countertops, 9’ ceilings, Kohler fixtures, tile baths and hardwood flooring. It also features a 300 sq. ft. kitchen with stainless steel appliances.
“This Spring Lake home was manufactured to national code standards, which exceeds both local and state code standards,” Zarrilli said. “It also uses more lumber, which makes it stronger than site built homes and able to withstand 120 miles per hour winds.”
With 50 years experience and three generations in the building industry, Zarrilli Homes specializes in creating modular homes focused on the needs of the homeowner. Interested homebuyers have the opportunity to customize their modular home at Zarrilli’s award-winning Design Studio in Brick, NJ.
